What if you think you have finally recovered from the damage caused by Typhoon No. 21?And at the end of the month?
Tomorrow, I was planning to clean the precincts at the end of the month, but I suddenly changed to preparing for a typhoon. You have to get ready before it rains.A big cedar branch is still stuck on the electric wire in the neighborhood, is that okay? Please do not have a power outage.
The cedar tree near Araki Jinja was blown by the storm of Typhoon No. 21 and its trunk is tilted with its branches facing north.
According to the forecast, Typhoon No. 24 will take a course that traverses the Japanese archipelago.Let's get ready early.
On Monday, September 9th, there was a small figure that came out to the approach with Yotayota from between the torii gate on the way back from my dog and the early morning walk.I thought it was a kitten, but it was a raccoon dog.I didn't seem to be able to see much because I was ill, and I was wandering around without noticing the dog. While I was preparing to take a picture, I noticed the dog and threatened it though it was small.I passed by with a short towline in case the dog attacked, but could she hide properly?

The regulation of the mountain tour road has been lifted, but we still need to be careful.
I went to Kumatakasha from Mitsutsuji this morning. The approach is clean, but when you look around the side of the road, big trees are broken or fallen everywhere. There are many places where broken branches remain on the torii gate.A fallen tree remains stuck on the telephone line near Toyokawa.NTT has informed us that this fallen tree will be removed around noon on the 15th tomorrow.
Although the regulations have been lifted, it looks like this, so there are places where restoration work can be started without notice. Please visit us after understanding.

Worship has resumed.

From today, the road from Kumatakasha to Mitsutsuji can be passed. The approach to the front of Araki Jinja, which was quiet, is now crowded with worshipers, and it has become lively for the first time in a while.Still, there are still fewer worshipers than before. The approach to the shrine is almost cleared, but fallen trees and collapsed torii gates may be piled up on the side of the road, or branches may be caught on the trees, so please be careful and worship at your own risk.Restoration work is also continuing.Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

I found the first acorn this year. The branch of this fruit-bearing oak tree was broken by the typhoon, but it seems that the fruit has fallen properly. This is how the forest is reborn.Mt. Inari, which was heavily damaged this time, will surely become a young and vigorous forest in a few years.

The entry restrictions have been lifted.

Some restrictions on mountain entry from Mitsutsuji to the summit have been lifted.I can't go from Kumatakasha to Mitsutsuji, but I went from Araki Jinja side through Mitsutsuji to Yotsutsuji. The collapsed torii is still on the side of the road, but the fallen trees and fallen leaves are clean. At Yotsutsuji's Nishimura-tei, preparations were underway to open the store.Electricity restoration work is still ongoing. It seems that other teahouses are also preparing to open, but they were closed today. It seems that you can get a red stamp at Gozenya.I heard the sound of a chainsaw from the road from Mitsutsuji to Kumatakasha.
It is said that there are some places that are off limits and many places are under restoration work, so please be careful and considerate when visiting.

Yesterday, today and Kansai Electric Power worked hard.
Inariyama had a power outage since September 9, but electricity was restored to Yotsutsuji this evening.Unfortunately, there are still many fallen trees above Yotsutsuji and it takes time. The mountain entry restrictions have not been lifted yet, but it would be great if we could start worshiping sooner. We will let you know when the regulation is lifted.
The flower in the photo is the Japanese name "Tamasudare", commonly known as "Rain Lily".The pretty white flowers come out after the rain.
